Andrea Wang : Schwarzman Scholars Program
Andrea Wang (’24, Data Science and Business Administration) is driven by the intersection of emerging technologies and governance, particularly how technological innovation can serve public interest. She currently works in product at Visa, where she supports regulatory initiatives for digital asset products, and previously worked across AI/ML fraud products and M&A. At Cal, she served as President of the Association of Womxn in EE&CS, competed on the Haas International Case Competition team, and danced with AFX Dance. As a Schwarzman Scholar, Andrea hopes to explore how technology can shape and be shaped by society, institutions, and public policy across different cultural and political contexts.
