Alexander Zhao (’21, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science) has published research on biased algorithms and recommender systems and served as an editor for the data projects team for The Daily Californian. Alexander hopes to improve our ability to assess fairness in algorithms through his experiences in graduate school.
