Freja Ekman (’18, Chemical Biology) is pursuing an MD at Stanford School of Medicine, having already earned a master’s degree in translational biomedical research from the University of Cambridge. Freja aspires to address the inequities experienced by the neurodiverse community through both the development of personalized therapies and disability advocacy. She has developed both DNA and RNA gene therapy strategies with Professor Schaffer at UC Berkeley and Professor Lever at Cambridge. She also worked at D.E. Naveen Durvasula

Naveen Durvasula is a sophomore majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) and Business Administration through the Management, Entrepreneurship, and Technology program at UCB. He’s interested in problems at the intersection of computational learning theory, economics, and machine learning. Justin Hogenauer

Justin Hogenauer is a junior pursuing simultaneous degrees in Society & Environment and Business Administration at the University of California, Berkeley. Orion Ning

Orion Ning is a senior (’22) majoring in physics and mathematics at UC Berkeley. He has been involved in research in both theoretical and experimental particle physics, as well as in cosmology. Orion’s research work spans a broad range of open problems and ideas, in particular studying special types of quantum field theories, parameterizing dark energy and gravity theories, and conducting precision tests for Beyond-Standard-Model physics. Anthony Neil Tan is a budding bioengineer and a maker education advocate. Kayla Brown earned her B.A. in Media Studies from UC Berkeley in 2020.
