Alexandra Feldman 2022-2023

Alexandra Feldman (Political Economy, ’22) is a native of Southern California. She first visited Beijing during a 4-week Chinese language immersion program after her sophomore year in high school, and has continued studying both Chinese and Chinese literature since then. While attending Berkeley as a Regents’ Scholar, she became the Head News Editor for the Daily Californian and began writing poetry and short stories. Ian Wong 2022-2023

Ian Wong (Sociology and Economics, ’22) is a Boston native who grew up in Hong Kong. As an undergraduate, Ian served as the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Sino-American Affairs, leading a team of nineteen editors from North America, Europe, and Asia. He has also interned at global consulting firm Albright Stonebridge Group’s China Practice, and at the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. Issac Levine 2020-2021

Isaac graduated from UC Berkeley in 2019 with a BA in Political Economy. He also studied Chinese language throughout his time at Berkeley and was awarded the Huang Scholarship, through which he studied with Princeton-in-Beijing and interned at a small music and media company in Shanghai. Jesse Bowens 2015-2016

Jesse Bowens is a transfer student to U.C. Berkeley from Las Positas College. She will receive her degree in May 2016 as a Business Administration major from the UC Haas School of Business. Upon graduation, she will attend Peking University to earn a Masters in Chinese Studies with an emphasis in Economics and Management. She currently serve as Scholarships coordinator for the Berkeley Student Foundation, a Cohort Leader for the Haas Cohort Program, and was selected as a CalCPA Emerging Accounting Scholar.

“Andrew is an athlete, lawyer, entrepreneur and aspiring policy-maker. He studied politics at the University of California, Berkeley where he was a member of the Division 1 Varsity Water Polo Team.
